Category 1: Students who have passed their 12th standard from a government-recognised examination board, such as CBSE, ICSE.
Category 2: Students who are in their 12th Standard and will be appearing in their board examination in the coming year 2023, from a government-recognised examination board.
Age limit:
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October, 1997, are eligible to apply for MSAT (Primary) - 2023.
However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, the upper age limit has been relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who are born on or after 01 October, 1991, are also eligible to apply.
DOB: The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board or University Certificate shall only be considered valid.
Subject group: In addition to this, one main requirement that the student needs to fulfill is that he/she should have passed the 12th standard in any stream, i.e. Science, Commerce or Humanities, will be considered for admission.
Those students who are pursuing any other subjects while doing their 12th standard are not eligible for appearing in the MSAT (Primary) scholarship examination.
Any student who falls in any of the above-listed categories has the full right to apply for the MSAT (Primary).
Note: The total number of attempts for General and OBC candidates is three, whereas the total number of attempts for SC/ST/PH is five.
